Meet Dr. Jeffrey Harris, DDS

Dr. Jeff Harris was born and raised in the St. Louis area, and his path to Kirkwood Station Dental has always felt less like a career move and more like a homecoming. He knew he wanted to be a dentist at age seven — and every step since, from De Smet Jesuit High School to his undergraduate years, has been in pursuit of that goal.

Dr. Harris earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Creighton University before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), also at Creighton. That computer science background isn't just a fun fact — it shapes how he thinks about running a modern practice, from the technology in the operatory to the way patients experience their care from the moment they walk in.

With 17 years of clinical experience, Dr. Harris has spent his career refining both his skills and his approach to patient care. He's been routinely recognized by St. Louis Magazine as one of the region's "Best Dentists," and he remains as committed to learning today as he was on day one — regularly pursuing continuing education to bring new techniques and technology to his patients. That commitment is reflected in his professional affiliations, which include the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Greater St. Louis Dental Society, and the Academy of Laser Dentistry. He is also currently working toward his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a distinction earned through extensive continuing education and rigorous testing across every discipline of dentistry.

At the heart of Dr. Harris's approach is a simple belief: dentistry is about people, not just teeth. He's passionate about the mouth-body connection — the idea that a healthy mouth is foundational to a healthy body — and he takes the time to help patients understand how their dental health connects to their overall well-being.

Just as important to Dr. Harris is how that care is delivered. Outside the office, Dr. Harris is a devoted husband and father of four. He's a die-hard supporter of St. Louis sports teams, an enthusiastic traveler, and someone who's always looking for an excuse to get out on the golf course.
